Zhenkai makes two kinds of anchor: the setting tool that drives a hollow-wall anchor — a design we hold a patent on — and the expansion anchors themselves, in M4 and M5. Both are produced in the same four-floor building in Cixi, on our own stamping and injection lines.

A hollow-wall anchor fails for one of two reasons: the anchor collapses behind the board, or the tool never drives it far enough in the first place. Those two failures are usually blamed on each other. Making both halves in one building means the tolerance between them is ours to hold, not two suppliers' to argue about.
The setting tool is hand-powered — no compressor, no battery. That is deliberate: the trades that fit hollow-wall anchors are working overhead on a ladder, and a tool with a cord or a hose is a tool that gets left in the van.
